News that Irish Fencing and Railings Ltd of Dublin has acquired the services of Cathal Rogers to act as General Manager has been revealed.
It is part of a move to expand North, and will see Cathal - who has over 30 years experience in the fencing industry throughout Ireland and the UK - take a lead role in the planned expansion.
Shane Winters Managing Director of Irish Fencing and Railings Ltd. said: "This is a very exciting opportunity for us to expand our activities in the North West and Border Counties of the Republic and in Northern Ireland.
"Having Cathal on board will confirm our intention to be a very serious player in the market for Fences, Railings and Gates on a 32-County Basis.
"The Rogers name is synonymous with Fencing in Northern Ireland in particular, and greatly strengthens our position.
"Cathal has been at the lead in developing new and improved Welded Mesh Systems for Sports areas and has been involved with many GAA, Soccer, Rugby, Hockey and MUGA's (Multi User Ground Utilities) for Clubs, Schools, Colleges and Local Authorities.
"As the longest established fencing company in The Irish Republic we offer a complete range of fencing products, ranging from sports meshes through perimeter security products such as Railings and Palisade to our wide number of gate options, we are always keen to adapt and improve our products and this new arrangement will no doubt lead to some changes in our offerings in the future."
Mr Winters concluded: "This new operation in Draperstown comes three months after the opening of an office in Newry, and is part of an overall plan to provide customers north and south with an Irish Fencing location close to their projects.
"With operations in Cork, Dublin, Newry and now Draperstown Irish Fencing and Railings Ltd give the best geographic coverage of any fencing manufacturer or installer on the island."
