Graham Projects Scoop €15m Transport Bridge Agreement

Down - based contractors, Graham Projects Ltd, have been awarded the main contract for the construction of a public transport bridge.

According to CIS the construction company will commence work on the bridge, at Marlborough Street, Dublin, in late September.

Designed by Dublin-based Architects, Sean Harrington Architects the project will include the construction of a bridge and associated road tie-ins to carry public transport including light rail.

The project involves the construction of single span concrete bridge, approximately 46m long and approximately 26m wide carrying public transport linking the north quay to the south quay of the River Liffey.

Work on the bridge is expected take 17 months to complete.
