A Co Antrim-based firm, McCue Fit-Out, has plenty of reasons to celebrate during the festive period after successfully bringing three new market entries to Northern Ireland – in contract wins worth over £1 million.
McCue was chosen to deliver the complete interior fit-out for one of Belfast's newest eateries Wagamama as well as Ireland's flagship store for quirky UK clothing brand White Stuff.
In addition, the company has delivered the fit-out for the UK and Ireland’s first outlet of Canadian frozen yoghurt firm Yogen Fruz.
Les McCraken, Managing Director, McCue, said: "The last few months have been busy for McCue and we're looking forward to that continuing well into the New Year. To be chosen by three high-profile companies to deliver their market entry into Northern Ireland reflects breadth and depth of our fit-out skills and service."
He continued: "2010 has been a strong year with growth in hospitality and retail and we're hopeful of announcing several new contract wins in these fast-growing areas in the New Year."
Nationwide, the company has become the fit-out specialist of choice for Urban Outfitters – having recently completed fit-outs worth more than £6 million in Cardiff, London, Liverpool and Bath, whilst also currently delivering Urban's 350,000 sqft Distribution Centre near Northampton.
Their work on the Liverpool store saw them win the NAS Shopfitting Excellence Award at Retail Week's Interior Awards where they were also the recipients of the coveted Store Fit Company of the Year Award, of which the nominees are at the discretion of the judges.
Maintaining local interest, McCue has also introduced the first restaurant to St. Anne's Square, The Potted Hen, which boasts 'a bistro menu with the emphasis on simple food, cooked well at a reasonable price'.
The company will also soon be celebrating a 30 year partnership with Herbal Restaurants, which has seen them fit-out all the KFC stores that make up Europe’s largest KFC franchisee. They also enjoy successful long-term partnerships with Starbucks, DW Sports and Hamleys to name a few.
