Yesterday, the Environment Committee heard testimony from DDDA Chair Niamh Brennan.
TD Phil Hogan said the evidence submitted shows the taxpayer will be left "to pick up a tab of millions due to disastrous financial decisions".
"It is absolutely clear that the DDDA is a financial ‘septic tank’ that the taxpayer will be left to clean up after," said Mr Hogan.

"From Niamh Brennan's testimony, it is crystal clear that the public will be picking up the tab through NAMA for the disastrous land deals."
He suggested the DDDA will also continue to lose cash, adding to its operating loss of €27m in 2008 with a €10m operating loss this year and further losses next year.
"Ms Brennan admitted that there was a systemic conflict of interest between the plethora of DDDA Board Members that also served on the Board of Anglo-Irish Bank. Anglo ‘infiltrated’ the DDDA and taxpayers will pay the price for this," said the TD.
He suggested many questions still remained unanswered.
"The level of redress by former board members, particularly Sean Fitzpatrick and Lar Bradshaw.
"They both served on both the Anglo Board and the DDDA Board and there is no way that the taxpayer should pay for the entire amount of their mistakes."
He also requested to know the situation with NAMA and all the DDDA land, not just the Irish Glass Bottle Site.
