The Greater London Assembly

Scratch removal

The prestigious landmark home of the Greater London Authority designed by Foster and Partners has glazing installed by three different contractors in different elements of the structure. Such a large and complex building involving such a variety of different trades all aiming for completion for a specified date inevitably results in some scratching accidentally happening to the installed glass. Under separate contracts with each of the installers Reface contributed to the building being handed over scratch free to the elected assembly.

The Dorchester Hotel

When you take a suite at one of the worlds most exclusive hotels you may expect your rooms to be of the very highest quality. In order to provide guests with the best facilities the hotel management provides softened water to the showers, London’s water is normally hard. Unfortunately the process of softening the water results in unsightly residue staining forming on the glazed shower screens over a period of time. In order to return the bathrooms to the high quality of finish required by the hotel Reface carried out Chemical Cleaning to remove the stains that normal cleaning regime could not remove.

Resin repair

Just before handover some glass was accidentally damaged by something falling against it. There was not really time to obtain new panes and the disruption caused by replacement would inevitably have other knock on effects delaying completion. Reface carried out Resin Repair of the damage making it un-noticeable and the project was delivered on time.
