Conway Piling Ltd. (Piling Kildare)
Conway Piling Ltd is a leading Irish owned Piling Company situated outside of Kilcullen in Co Kildare.
Conway Piling Ltd has been a presence within the Irish market for over 12yrs having been founded in 1997 by Managing Director, Lar Conway. In 2008 Conway’s looked at breaking into the European market and were successful in securing a piling sub – contract for a rail line extension in Germany.
This project is on going and sees Conway’s branching into bored cast in place piling.
Prior to this Conway’s main focus was bottom driven steel tube mini piles and driven precast concrete piles.
Within Conway’s fleet there are 2No custom made mini piling rigs to address the issues of limited head room and access within projects such as house extensions and stabilisation, and also 3No Junttan precast piling rigs. On the German project Conway’s latest investment, a Delmag RH 20, is being employed. Conway’s also have a Hutte HBR 605 for mirco piling, this rig was used for mirco piling of an apartment building in Athy, Co. Kildare.
Aside from offering varied piling solutions, Conway’s also manufacture their own precast piles thereby ensuring the quality of the product that they offer to their clients. Also within their manufacturing yard they manufacture precast concrete stairs. Conway’s also offer a ground beam solution bringing your build up to sub floor level.
Conway Piling have a co-operation agreement in place with AG Zublin GmbH to manufacture and install Zublin’s patented concrete sound barrier walls within Ireland and the UK. Zublins’ concrete sound barrier walls are a new product to the Irish and UK markets and offer many advantages over other sound barrier solutions available at present namely they are virtually maintenance free, their sound absorption is higher than EU regulations, they have a longer life and are fire resistant.
Conway Piling is a company that is constantly adapting and forging a path ahead to meet the needs and issues of an ever changing economic climate while still focusing on the needs and expectations of it’s clients, to this end Conway Piling now employ 2No Structural Engineers who between them hold over 40yrs experience, and whom are available to assist and /or consult in the design of your projects be they large or small.
