Emtek To Supply Armagh Public Realm Paving

Armagh firm Emtek Ltd has been awarded the contract to supply materials for the laying and grouting of 15,000m² of new paving as part of the Armagh Public Realms Scheme.

The project is expected to take 24 months to complete and Emtek will be working alongside the main contractor, SIAC.

Neil McKee, Managing Director, Emtek Ltd said: "We are delighted to have been awarded this prestigious contract which will see the regeneration of Armagh City Centre.

"We will be using our range of Urban Streetscape grout products, known as Emtek Ultrascape, including Emtek EPR-9 in Salmor covers, Emtek Pro-Bed HS (bedding mortar), Emtek Pro-Prime (primer), Emtek Flowpoint (flowable grout) and Emtek M60 bedding mortar for normal manhole frames.

"There are many benefits to using a local company for this type of work. Our accessibility means that we are available to provide technical support and on-site training as required as well as holding buffer stock in our new, purpose-built premises in Lurgan," he added.

Since winning this contract, Emtek Ltd has also been awarded similar streetscape projects, using the same products in Kilkenny, Warrenpoint and at Queens University, Belfast.
