Building Services Firm In £100m Takeover

A Northern Ireland building services company is to be taken over by an Australian firm in a multi-million pound transaction.

It has emerged today that the Co Antrim based company, Rotary Group, will be bought by the Australian Hastie Group in a deal worth almost £100 million.


Rotary, which is based in Newtownabbey, employs 2,000 people around the world.

It specialises in the provision of services such heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems.

The company will continue trading under its own name and the existing management team will remain in place under the new ownership.
