Moira Stadium Builders In League Of Their Own

A building firm that helped to construct Arsenal's new Emirates Stadium has announced its own record breaking trading results.

County Down firm, McMullen Architectural revealed that turnover soared by 60% last year, with orders on the books worth over £50m.

The Moira based company makes windows and curtain walls for the commercial construction market. Several years ago, the firm took the decision to base its growth strategy not just on increasing the number of contracts but concentrating on those which required a high level of technical design and innovation.

More recently, it made a £2m investment into founding its US subsidiary McMullen Inc to meet demand for the company's growing international order book.

Founded in 1971, employs 150 staff in Moira and a further 120 across the UK, Ireland, Poland and the USA.
