Farrans And UU Partnership Seeks KTP Associate

Farrans, a leading construction company, has announced a new Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with Ulster University. This two-year partnership aims to develop innovative solutions for site-won soil waste streams and promote the reuse of soil waste as a sustainable construction material.

As part of its commitment to sustainability and net-zero carbon targets, Farrans is seeking to reduce the environmental impact of the construction industry. The Knowledge Transfer Partnership will focus on developing low-carbon cement and concrete alternatives and reducing waste from construction sites.


Farrans is currently recruiting a KTP Associate to join this exciting project. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research and development in sustainable construction. The role offers a competitive salary, travel opportunities, and a CPD training budget. Additionally, the Associate will be enrolled in Farrans' Foundation graduate development scheme and receive support to gain chartership.
