The TES-CAW JV has been awarded a contract to operate and maintain the Kinnegar Wastewater Treatment Works in Holywood. Additionally, the JV is involved in the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase of two significant upgrade projects as part of the Living With Water in Belfast Plan.
CAW is collaborating with Farrans Construction, TES Group, and AECOM to develop innovative solutions for the delivery of a new wastewater pumping station at Sydenham and the upgrade of Kinnegar WwTW.
To support its expansion, CAW has increased its workforce by nearly 15 percent, bringing the total number of employees to 113. This growth includes the transfer of staff from Lagan MEICA and the recruitment of additional personnel. The company has created new positions, such as a Senior Contracts Manager, an Environmental Scientist, and Contracts Engineers, to enhance its capabilities and capitalise on future opportunities.

CAW's entry into Northern Ireland and the creation of these roles are driven by both the new contracts and the company's broader growth strategy. The company anticipates securing additional contracts with both Uisce Éireann and NI Water in the future.

CAW has secured these contracts due to its considerable expertise and experience in the provision of water and wastewater treatment plant design, construction and operations services for Ireland's national water utility company, Uisce Éireann. This includes maintaining high standards of operational performance at major wastewater treatment plants that are undergoing complex upgrade projects, including the ongoing upgrades at the Ringsend Wastewater Treatment Plant in Dublin where CAW currently treats over 50 percent of Ireland's wastewater.
