Kilwaughter Minerals Launches New Innovative Render Product

Construction News Image
Kilwaughter Minerals, a well-known brand in the construction industry, has introduced a groundbreaking render product called K1 Spray+.

The K1 Spray+ represents a £200,000 investment and is designed to surpass the performance of its predecessor, K1 Spray. The new product offers enhanced ease of use and is suitable for both spray and hand application.

K1 Spray+ is a one-coat, two-pass through-coloured render, providing efficient coverage and simplifying the application process. The product is also optimised for machine handling, ensuring consistent build-out even in difficult conditions.

Kilwaughter Minerals continues to innovate and provide high-quality products to meet the evolving needs of the construction industry.

Caroline Rowley, Business Development Director at Kilwaughter Minerals, commented: "We are thrilled to introduce K1 Spray+, which, following the launch of K Rend's Eco Range earlier this year, reflects the brand's commitment to continuous innovation and effectively meeting the demands of the market.

"This product has been carefully designed to make the application process as simple and efficient as possible, while delivering the high-performance standards that K Rend is known for. Ensuring a positive experience for customers using a hand or spray finish has been key to the versatile specification we created and our R&D team have certainly delivered that.

"We are confident K1 Spray+ will be a transformative development for applicators searching for a render product that combines ease of use with exceptional results from a widely trusted brand."

As part of K Rend's scraped texture product range, K1 Spray+ features the brand's signature fine texture finish and is available in 20 standard colours, offering a visually appealing solution for both new builds and renovation, maintenance, and improvement (RMI) projects.

The launch of K1 Spray+ is also backed by K Rend's expert team, who are on hand to offer comprehensive support including specification guidance, on-site assistance, training, and technical advice to ensure optimal results for applicators and contractors alike.

The launch kicks off with events at Kilwaughter's Larne, St Helens and Cork premises to allow customers and applicators to see first hand the benefits of the new product and to get practical hands on experience applying it. This will be followed by a roadshow with demo events throughout the country throughout October and November, supported by a range of machine suppliers and specialists to put the product through its paces.

This latest announcement follows the launch of K Rend's Eco Range earlier this year. The product portfolio includes a suite of reduced cement render and mortar solutions and underscores Kilwaughter Minerals' dedication to improving environmental standards in the construction industry, promoting sustainable practices and meeting the demands of eco-conscious customers.
