On Conway Street/Europe Boulevard, initial site investigation works have been completed to identify existing services and utilities that might affect construction. As part of the project, temporary traffic signals with designated pedestrian routes have been set up to replace the existing signals. Additionally, the central reservation on Conway Street between Argyle Street and Europa Boulevard has been removed to prepare for the new pavement construction.

On Grange Road/Charing Cross, preparation for the new tree pits is complete, with the holes temporarily backfilled until replacement paving begins. Work has also started at the Charing Cross junction, where traffic signals are being replaced with temporary ones, and traffic management arrangements have been put in place.
Coming up on Conway Street, after the surfacing of the central reserve and the traffic switch, the team will extend their work beyond the bus station to Hemingford Street to prepare for a new cycle lane. Additionally, work is set to begin on Europa Boulevard in the coming weeks, starting with the initial phase on the existing roundabout in the southbound carriageway.
