Bruce Engineering Celebrates 20 Years As A Hardox Wearparts Centre

Construction News Image
Bruce Engineering has received a 20 years of service award to celebrate a successful partnership as a Hardox Wearparts centre.

The company was presented with the award during a trip to the home of Hardox in Oxelosund Steel Mill in Sweden.

Last month SSAB, a Nordic and US-based steel company, hosted their Global Review meeting in Ireland and Bruce Engineering hosted representatives from SSAB's technical and sales team at its factory.

During the visit, the Bruce team had the opportunity to demonstrate the long history and continued development of SSAB products throughout the country.

In 2016, a sister company, Bruce Wearparts, was launched to deal directly with ongoing Hardox® Wearpart demands throughout the country.

Bruce Engineering Director, Reuben Bruce, said: "We started as an authorised Hardox® distributor in 1995 and after building a good product knowledge and customer loyalty we became one of the first Hardox® Wearparts centres in 2003.

"During this time we have been involved in many product developments and applications for the Hardox® brands. It was great to visit the mill again to meet some old and new faces. As always it was a very interesting trip, discussing the latest products and information on the Hardox® grades!

"It was a privilege to accept the 20-year service award on behalf of Bruce 'Wearparts' and we look forward to being involved in the launch of the new Hardox® products (Hardox® HiAce & HiTuf) into the market."
