Two new treatment tanks have been installed at the treatment plant near Omagh. The tanks are fully enclosed and can treat over 13,000 litres of wastewater an hour.

These new tanks are almost double the design capacity of the old treatment plant and will provide a robust wastewater solution for Mountfield for many years to come.
Works are being carried out by the DLJ joint venture which includes Castlederg-based Lowry Building & Civil Engineering and Newry-based Jacopa.
The multi-million pound project is due to be completed in early 2024.
