Customers in these areas have experienced lower than normal water pressure and intermittent water outages after Storm Debi created a problem at Courtbane Pumphouse.
As soon as the problem was identified, crews have worked to address the issue at the pumphouse. However, due to the complexity of the repair works, it is taking longer than expected to complete.

Once repairs are complete, Uisce Éireann has said that it may take several house for normal water supply to return to all customers.
Uisce Éireann has arranged an alternative water supply at Sheelagh National School. Supplies will be maintained throughout the day. Customers are reminded to use their own containers when taking water from the tankers and to boil water before consumption as a precautionary measure as per HSE advice.
James O'Hagan, Uisce Éireann, said: "We would like to assure customers in the affected area that every effort is being made to conduct repairs as quickly and as efficiently as possible. We understand the inconvenience an unplanned outage can have, and we genuinely appreciate your patience as our dedicated crews work diligently to return a normal water supply as swiftly as possible."
