Antrim Leisure Centres Set For Fitness Upgrades

Three leisure facilities in County Antrim are set to be upgraded with new state-of-the-art fitness equipment.

Over the next few weeks new equipment will be installed at Seven Towers Leisure Centre, Larne Leisure Centre and Amphitheatre Wellness Centre.

The new range of gym equipment will be a boost for members to help them achieve their health and fitness goals. The equipment will include cardio and resistance machines featuring the latest technology - to suit all levels and abilities.


Mid and East Antrim Borough Council residents and visitors will not only be provided with a range of high quality gym equipment but also enhanced gym environments to ensure comfort and maximise the customer experience.

The new gym equipment is a significant and positive investment in leisure services across the Borough and will be a great boost for current and new members, as well as help promote the 'Better Me in 2023' campaign.

The gyms will close on the following dates to allow for installation and set-up:

• Seven Towers Leisure Centre: Closes 16 February - Reopens 09 March

• Larne Leisure Centre
: Closes 17 February - Reopens 10 March

• Amphitheatre Wellness Centre
: Closes 28 February - Reopens 18 March.
