Extensive Renovation Underway At Antrim Forum Fitness Suite

An exciting £2.4 million renovation project at Antrim Forum's Fitness Suite has officially got underway.

Work is taking place to transform the space into a state-of-the-art facility, with the Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Alderman Stephen Ross recently unveiling the plans.

The Mayor commented: "I'm delighted to be unveiling the exciting plans for the new Antrim Forum fitness suite and to open the temporary fitness suite. This investment will elevate the facilities we have in the centre and take our fitness offering to the next level.



"This investment has been planned for some time now and many of our loyal customers will be excited to see the new fitness suite coming to fruition."

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council has appointed one of the world's leading fitness equipment manufacturers, Technogym to deliver functional, strength, cardio and conditioning-based equipment into the new Fitness Suite. 
The temporary fitness suite is now open and is located on the second floor incorporating existing equipment and a temporary improved strength zone with four bay rig and associated equipment.


This latest leisure investment comes on the back of a recent upgrade at Ballyearl Leisure Centre, including a suite of new Technogym interactive equipment as well as TopTracer virtual golf technology.
