NI Water will lead the work on Mountjoy Road as part of a new storm water infrastructure scheme to support the housing development at Woodside Avenue.
Pipelaying has already been completed on Lisanelly Avenue and Grange Park and is currently ongoing on Woodside Avenue.
This next phase of pipework at Mountjoy Road will take place from the evening of Friday 03 February to Sunday 05 February.
A Traffic Control permit has been authorised by DfI Roads, to facilitate crossing Mountjoy Road from Grange Park into Woodside Avenue. NI Water's contractor, Deane Public Works Ltd, will implement a temporary lane closure on Mountjoy Road, with three-way traffic lights to manage traffic flow. The work has been authorised by DfI Roads to take place over a weekend, from 7pm on 03 February to 8am on 06 February, to minimise impact to motorists.

Three-way traffic lights will be in place at the junction of Woodside Avenue and Mountjoy Road and a lane closure will be in place on Mountjoy Road to maintain traffic from Omagh Town Centre. A diversion using St Julian's Road and Old Mountfield Road will be in place for traffic coming into town from Gortin Road.
Access to Woodside Avenue will be maintained at all times and NI Water's contractor will ensure that any deliveries to properties/businesses in the area are facilitated.

We assure you that we will strive to keep disruption to a minimum and complete the work in the shortest possible timeframe."
