The Department for Infrastructure is investing £87,000 to resurface a section of Gobrana Road from the A26 Moira Road to the Crumlin Road for 0.6 kilometres.
The scheme will get underway on Monday 28 February and is expected to be complete by 01 April 2022.
Weekday road closures will be implemented between 8am and 6pm throughout to facilitate the works. During these times a signed diversionary route will be in place using A26 Moira Road – Lisburn Rd – Crumlin Rd and vice versa. Local access for residents and emergency services will be maintained at all times.

Announcing the scheme, Infrastructure Minister Nichola Mallon said: "This significant investment will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of this section of the road network to the benefit of local residents and those who travel through the area. I would like to thank the public and local residents in advance for their cooperation and ask that they comply with all temporary traffic restrictions while these much needed works are completed."
Road users should expect some delays and are advised to allow additional time when travelling in the vicinity of the works and are asked to comply with all temporary traffic restrictions.
