A series of road closures have been announced in the County Antrim town of Ballymoney to facilitate a programme of improvements.
The Department for Infrastructure is investing £207,500 to resurface a 0.55km distance along the A26 Frosses Road at Kilraughts Road Roundabout.
Work will begin on this busy stretch of road on Monday 08 November and is expected to be complete by Sunday 21 November.
To facilitate the works, it will be necessary to operate three road closures:
• Monday 8 November 2021 to Saturday 13 November 2021 between 6.30 pm and 6am. During these times diversions will be in place via B62 Ballybogey Road-Portrush Road-Charles Street-Victoria Street-Queen Street-Rodeing Foot-Ballymena Road and vice versa. Kilraughts Road Diversion - via B62 Ballymena Road - B147 Newal Road-Kirk Road-Fivey Road-B15 Gracehill Road-B16 Kilraughts Road and vice versa.
• Sunday 14 November 2021 between 7am and 7pm. During these times diversions will be in place via B62 Ballybogey Road-Portrush Road-Charles Street-Victoria Street-Queen Street-Rodeing Foot-Ballymena Road and vice versa. Kilraughts Road Diversion - via B62 Ballymena Road - B147 Newal Road-Kirk Road-Fivey Road-B15 Gracehill Road-B16 Kilraughts Road and vice versa.
• Sunday 21 November 2021 between 7am and 7pm. During these times diversions will be in place via B62 Ballybogey Road-Portrush Road-Charles Street-Victoria Street-Queen Street-Rodeing Foot-Ballymena Road and vice versa. Kilraughts Road Diversion - via B62 Ballymena Road - B147 Newal Road-Kirk Road-Fivey Road-B15 Gracehill Road-B16 Kilraughts Road and vice versa.
Local access for residents and emergency services will be maintained at all times.
