Feedback Sought On Pedestrianisation Of Ennis Town Centre

Construction News Image
Locals in the County Clare town of Ennis have been called to have their say on plans for potential pedestrianisation measures in the town centre.

This survey, which runs from 15-29 October, gives residents, businesses owners and more the opportunity to voice how they would like to see the town centre operate in the future.

Clare County Council is moving forward with the survey as part of the Ennis Mobility Plan, which will examine all modes of transport for the sustainable movement of people within Ennis and its environs.

The survey comprises 12 questions including a number of profiling questions. This information is being sought to inform if the Council is capturing the preferences of a broad range of users of the town. There are a number of non-mandatory questions which seek individual opinions on pedestrianisation, infrastructural requirements and various forms of pedestrianisation.

It officially opened at 9am today, Friday 15 October, and will close at 5pm on Friday 29 October.

Access the survey and make your voice heard here.
