Construction News Image
Developers have broke ground on a new housing development in south Belfast.

Leading Northern Ireland homebuilder Hagan Homes is leading the construction of 33 new homes at Thirty Three South just off the Donegall Road. DB Contracts has been appointed as main contractor for the £4.5 million development, creating 55 construction jobs.

The overall development of 33 one and two bedroom apartments is scheduled to be handed over by summer 2021, with the first home handover due to take place in summer 2020.

Revealing more about the new build, Jim Burke, Director of Sales and Acquisitions at Hagan Homes, said: "Thirty Three South is a stunning newly built apartment scheme which is situated just a stone's throw away from Belfast’s lively city centre. Nestled just off the Donegall Road, this exclusive scheme offers residents the opportunity to live comfortably in an attractive city-centred area. The nearby area boasts a rich variety of local amenities and a wealth of entertainment facilities, as well as providing easy access to the Lisburn Road. Furthermore, the Royal Victoria and Belfast City Hospitals are located within close proximity.

"With easy access to the M1 and M2 motorway network via the West Link, this location can be considered nothing other than a commuter's paradise. What's more, rail connections throughout Northern Ireland are available from City Hospital Train Station, located just across the road from this accessible apartment scheme. For those travelling further afield, Belfast City Airport is situated only six miles away."
