Enniskillen Roadworks Enter Final Stage

A £100,000 road improvement scheme in Enniskillen is set to reach completion next month.

Led by the Department for Infrastructure, this project includes resurfacing a 180m stretch of A4 Henry Street from its junction with the A4 Anne Street to approximately 50m south of its junction with Old Henry Street

Work was carried out on Sunday 26 January between 8am and 8pm, with a road closure in place.

The road will close again on Sunday 09 February between 8am and 11pm for the final stage of improvement works.

Advanced warning and diversion signage will be in place. North/Eastbound traffic will be diverted from A4 Sligo Road via Ashwoods Road, Derrygonnelly Road, A46 Lough Shore Road. South/Westbound traffic will be diverted from Wellington Road via A4 Castle Street, A4 Anne Street, A46 Loughshore Road, Derrygonnelly Road, Ashwoods Road and A4 Sligo Road.

Local access for residents and businesses will be maintained although road users may experience some delays and are advised to leave additional time when travelling in the area.
