Public Invited To Enniskillen Public Realm Scheme Event

Members of the public have been invited to an event on the £5.2 million Enniskillen Public Realm Scheme next week.

This 'Open Day' will allow locals to meet the Public Realm team and find out more about the roll out of the project.

Funded by the Department for Communities and Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, the public realm scheme will enhance the appearance of the town centre with improvements to footpaths, street lighting, landscaping and street furniture. It spans Darling, Wesley, Church, High, Townhall, Eden, Water, Market, Middleton, East Bridge and Belmore streets as well as The Diamond, East Bridge Place, Paget Square and Regal Pass.


FP McCann is serving as main contractor on the project and will also host the Open Day, which will take place at Fermanagh House in Enniskillen on Wednesday 22 January from 11am until 7pm.

The design of the Enniskillen Public Realm Scheme was finalised following consultation with members of the public, local businesses and other interested parties and the Project Steering Group

Work will begin in February and is expected to be complete by November 2021.
