The project has been named among four nominees in the final shortlist for the Restoration prize at the CEF Specify Construction Excellence Awards 2019.
It will compete against the Coleraine Library project, Mourne Wall repairs and Lanyon Conservation & Restoration Project at Queen's University Belfast to claim the prize.
The awards showcase the best of the construction industry in Northern Ireland and its achievements. The aim of the competition is to promote excellence and to give recognition to those companies who are achieving the highest standards of construction.

After taking damage during a flash flood in 2017, the 5 span masonry arch bridge was in need of repair. FP McCann worked to repair, reconstruct and widen 3m on the downstream side.
This was carried out to return the bridge structure to its original carriageway loading and hydraulic capacities whilst maintaining the historical aesthetic appearance.
Further works included widening the bridge to improve both carriageway and footway widths, making it safer for pedestrians and motorists.
The judging for the CEF Awards will take place during August with the winners revealed at the Gala Evening at the Crowne Plaza Belfast on 10 October 2019.
