NI Water To Host Information Event On L'Derry Sewer Scheme

NI Water is to host an information event on plans for a £850,000 storm sewer replacement scheme in Ballykelly, Co L'Derry.

The project will see 400m of storm sewer and associated manholes replaced and upgraded in Main Street. This work will significantly reduce the risk of out of sewer flooding and environmental pollution in this area during periods of heavy rainfall.


The drop-in information event regarding the project will take place on Wednesday 10 April from 4-7pm at Ballykelly Presbyterian Church Hall.

Attendees will be able to find out more about the work and ask questions to the NI Water project team.

The works are scheduled to begin in mid-June and be completed by late August 2019.

A lane closure will be in place on Main Street, and temporary traffic management arrangements will be in operation throughout.
