Works were completed in Gulladuff under the village renewal scheme, and included repaving and painting; the installation of seats, bins, railings, interpretation panels; and a new Christmas tree pit.
Mid Ulster Rural Development Partnership completed the work on behalf of the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs. Mid Ulster District Council provided 25% of the funding.

Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Councillor Sean McPeake, said: "A total of 37 projects are being supported with over £2M worth of investment from the Mid Ulster Rural Development Partnership in the next number of years.
"Gulladuff is the latest village to see renewal works complete through this investment project. The works have certainly enhanced the appearance of the village and made the shared space area much more appealing to local residents. An information panel providing details of local townlands is due to be installed soon and it is also hoped that this newly refurbished area will itself accommodate a Christmas tree being located here in future years."
