Digger Goes Missing

The PSNI in Lisburn are appealing for information following the theft of a JCB Micro Excavator from premises on Old Coach Road, Hillsborough.

The theft was reported at 11.40am on Monday morning, 4 January, and is believed to have occurred between Saturday, 2 January and then.


Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the JCB being taken from the plant hire premises or has information relating to this to contact them on 0845 600 8000.

Information about crime can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.

Stolen diggers have been used in a number of recent thefts from cash machines across Northern Ireland and the border counties.
