Funding has been made available under the 2010 scheme for owners and occupiers to complete restoration works.
The scheme is part of a package of measures introduced by the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government to strengthen the protection of architectural heritage.

Under the scheme, a wide range of conservation works may qualify for grants. However, works consisting of routine maintenance or improvements will not qualify.
A spokesman for Wicklow council said applications will be prioritised in accordance with the scheme, and grants if approved, will be paid from the allocation by the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government to the council for this purpose.
Grant applications for 2010 in the Wicklow County Council area must be received by the council by the 31 January 2010.
