At G&B (North West) Ltd we pride ourselves on delivering the highest level of customer service and that hard work has been rewarded with an award from one of our Cure It stockists.

Selco Builders Warehouse held their annual conference at the Midland Hotel, Manchester in January, where the team were presented with the Supplier of the Year award for Cure It.

The annual award is voted for by senior managers and branch staff from Selco stores across the UK. The nominations for the award were presented to a judging panel of Selco Directors and Cure It was named Supplier of the Year for 2018. Howard Luft, Chief Executive of Selco Builders Warehouse presented the award, highlighting Cure It’s innovative approach to product development.

The Cure It team visit builders merchants across the UK, delivering Cure It Demo Days and here is the current list of confirmed dates (more dates to be added once confirmed).

The team will demonstrate how to install a Cure It GRP flat roof, providing a demonstration of the five stage process. They will be able to answer any questions about the installation process and the range of Cure It products, as well as providing details about the one day Cure It training course that we offer.

Training is available at selected Cure It stockists across the UK and at our dedicated training centre in Wigan. The one day training course is designed to provide you with the basics you need to start using the Cure It product range.
Learn how to lay a Cure It GRP roof using specially formulated Cure It roofing resins and topcoats with hands-on training from the UK’s leading experts.

The training course includes:
Theory session, practical demonstration and hands-on training under the supervision of the UK’s leading experts in GRP roofing.
Small group sessions for individual feedback.
All practical basics covered including estimating, decking, edge detail, bandaging, laminating & topcoating.
Handling, storage and health safety information.
Guidance for specific projects. Training is available at selected stockists across the UK and our dedicated training centre in Wigan.

G & B North West, a Wigan-based manufacturer of roofing materials, has won regional recognition at this year’s prestigious EEF Future Manufacturing Awards.

G & B North West, which employs 80 staff won the Innovation Award, sponsored by HVM Catapult. This award celebrates manufacturing innovation whether demonstrated through product development or operating practices that have driven greater productivity, efficiency or business growth.

G & B North West was up against stiff competition from a range of innovative businesses - small and large - from across the region. It was selected by a panel of judges drawn from business leaders, industry experts and academics after impressing them with their hands-on approach to product development and installation.

With the regional title now secured, G & B North West will now go on to compete for the national title at an awards gala dinner in London in January next year.
