Managing director, contracts manager and co-founder of Dunkeel Ltd, Noel Martin has been the driving force behind the companies rapid growth and success in recent years. With over 15 years experience Noel holds extensive construction experience in both Ireland and Canada, his dedication, ambition and expertise are key as we continue to grow and develop within the industry.

Darren Martin
Operations Director
Operations manager and co-founder, Darren Martin is responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of all our construction projects. He oversees Dunkeel’s growth and development, and directs our advancement within the industry. Darren is crucial for ensuring that construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Brian McCartan
Commercial Manager
Brian is a salient member of our team, with over 11 years experience within the Irish and UK sector Brian has successfully completed many projects costing upwards of 40M. Brian’s knowledge and expertise is unmatched in managing all commercial aspects of our construction projects. Brian is essential to the successful execution of our construction projects, helping achieve our objectives within budgetary constraints and ensuring that projects are financially viable and sustainable.

Michael Stimpson
Barrister, FCIArb, Fellow, Mediator
Michael Stimpson is Dunkeel’s senior barrister and is a highly experienced legal professional with a deep understanding of the legal issues and regulations related to construction in Ireland as well as the UK and abroad. Michael has extensive knowledge of construction-related statutes, regulations, and case law and is well-versed in contract law, construction contracts, building regulations, and other legal aspects relevant to construction projects.

Damien Rooney
Senior Accountant
Damien is Dunkeel’s financial professional, with over 30 years experience under his belt he is an indispensable part of our team. Damien is responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Damiens knowledge, diligence and analytical skills are unrivalled.

DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
Cushina Avenue
Cushina Avenue is a new upcoming residential development in Portarlington, Co. Laois one of Portarlington’s most popular and well served neighbourhoods. Portarlington is a focal point of the Irish railway network, being situated on the junction for services to the west (Galway, Mayo), the south (Cork, Limerick, Tralee) and the east (Dublin, Kildare).

The development will take place in two phases and all the infrastructure works will be completed in Phase 1. The Model house will be constructed in Phase 1 so that all buyers can view the property and get clear ideas about the finishes of the property.

Key Challenges
Extra attention has been given towards the landscape and Ecological Impact of the development. Dunkeel Ltd gives environment safety priority during its development projects and has given priority towards retention of existing trees on the development site.

• Archaeology - Because a basement was proposed for this development, an archaeology assessment had to be carried out.
