O’Grady Crane Hire & Transport are a Midlands based company that cover all of Ireland and UK with a 24 Hour service to all customers.

We are a Family run business established over 40 years, originally as a Transport Company by James O’Grady Snr, which then progressed into the field of crane hire when the eldest son Tommy joined the company. Today leading the firm as one of the largest lifting specialists in Ireland, Tommy is supported by all four brothers and a highly skilled workforce.

We pride ourselves on an extremely low staff turnover, having in place a team of operators that have remained and grown with the company, giving us every confidence that our customers get the best possible service. Today we currently employ a fulltime staff of 22, operating a highly maintained fleet of Mobile & Tower Cranes and Artic & Rigid Trucks, along with a vast fleet of specialist trailers and equipment and Hiab Transport.

With this specialist workforce, our expanding crane fleet ranging from 30 to 300 ton cranes, and our Transport services from the Standard flat bed, to Specialist Abnormal loads. Let it be the initial Site Inspection or a Specialist Heavy Contract Lift, with the view that no job be too big or small, our company can provide an all in one service country wide to a standard of excellence that our customers can depend on.
