Underfloor heating systems are a highly effective and efficient method of heating. It is suitable for a wide range of projects, whether a new build, renovation or single area.
In a ‘wet’ or warm water underfloor heating system, pipework is laid in or under the floor. The pipework will be laid in the floor if the floor is solid (screed or concrete) and on grooved insulation panels if the floor is suspended timber.
As warm water is passed through the pipework, heat percolates into the floor and as a result the floor heats the room. In effect, the floor has become a gigantic radiator. This provides more even heat distribution than conventional heating methods such as radiators, meaning there is not risk of overheating or energy wastage.
Heat Pumps
As a market leader in commercial and domestic renewable solutions across Ireland & the UK, Mitsubishi Electric is a pioneer in the development of renewable heat pump technology that offers improved energy efficiency and meets tough legislation.
Heat pump technology has been used around the world for decades and Mitsubishi Electric have developed this technology to produce Ecodan – one of the most advanced, efficient heating systems available today.
The Ecodan heat pump range is suitable for small to large applications, be that domestic or commercial.
Using proven heat pump technology to deliver effective, low carbon heating and hot water, Mitsubishi Electric’s award winning Ecodan systems provide a simple, renewable solution that rivals traditional heating systems.
Heat Recovery
Home Heat Recovery Ventilation Systems & all the information you need to know! When we started designing and supplying heat recovery ventilation systems the main reason to have a heat recovery system was to recover the heat normally lost through the conventional bathroom extractor fans and air supply vents built into the windows and walls in every room and a heat recovery system achieves this very well with recovering over 90% of the normally lost heat.
But a heat recovery system does so much more and is now more important than most other systems you will be installing into your home!
