Scaftec specialise in the delivery of engineered schemes worldwide. We provide 5 million GBP Professional indemnity insurance and have professionally qualified engineers to ensure that all of our structure is designed, checked and approved by engineers with the knowledge, competence and expertise specific to scaffolding.

Working Scaffold Drawings
Since 1995, we have been working in partnership, to produce market leading design drawings for both scaffolding and main contractors, who require working drawings for scaffolding and temporary works on various projects. We work in many sectors both in the UK and internationally. With recent designs being produced for work in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Trinidad & Tobago and Australia.

SCAFFOLD STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS
Some scaffold structures due to their location, sensitivity or complicated nature require to be modelled with cutting edge finite element analysis software to determine the magnitude of forces in the scaffold structure and reaction applied to the structure or ground. The scaffold model is generated on FEA software, Scia Engineer, environmental and superimposed loads are then applied to the structure and the results then examined to ensure that all member forces are within their permissible values.

On sensitive structures (historic buildings) the tie values are very important to the client so we can ensure that the structure is capable of supporting the load applied. The FEA modelling also allowing for different bracing patterns to be explored to increase the efficiency of the scaffold structure or investigate different locations for ties or ground bearing struts.

SCAFFOLD CONSULTATION SERVICES
We always work closely with our clients to gain a better understanding of what they need and want. We advise them throughout on the safest and most effective way to design the scaffold for their job, utilising their particular stock holding.

We will undertake site visits, attend pre-construction meetings and provide our clients with preliminary drawings, presentation designs, construction detail drawings & full calculations including finite element analysis where required.
