Mayville Homes was formed in 2006 by brothers Louis and Norman Dunne, between them they boast 17 years in the construction sector. Norman is a qualified carpenter and Louis holds a degree in engineering from the University of Limerick.

Health and Safety

Mayville excepts that it has additional responsibilities for the management of safety on site, the company recognises that work accidents and work related health problems cause suffering to the persons affected and possible financial loss to them and the company. The company and its employees both direct and sub-contracted have a common interest in minimising the possibility of an accident.

This is achieved by:

Ensuring that the applicable legal requirements are met.
Setting safety and health objectives and reviewing performances against them.
Ensuring that at all levels, training and appropiate information on safety and health so that people are competent and safety conscious.
Planning for safe working and monitoring against the plans.
Establishing and implementing safety measurement procedures.
