Knowledgable staff = Brilliant Course
We did a 3 day (1 day a week) course with Audrey as our tutor. She was absolutely fantastic, and explained all manners of the course by conducting practicals and talking about the medical knowledge behind the techniques.
The scenario videos were ok, but the course did need someone knowledgeable like Audrey, to give a broader understanding.
Facilities were great - free parking and a good lunch every day. Breaks were well managed.
Would happily go back and do the course again, but I do recommend everyone have some knowledge of First Aid as you never know when you might help save someone's life.

I completed the Emergency First Aid at Work with Valerie in Coleraine last week and it was superb.
Valerie was very welcoming and put you at ease from the start. She also knows her stuff! Great teacher, I learnt a great deal from her. Many Thanks!

This course was good from start to finish. It was very informative, informal, well presented and the practical elements were were extremely useful. The repetitive nature of the practical sessions meant that what was learned was not easily forgotten; the old saying 'practice makes perfect' certainly springs to mind. The course instructor was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and professional.
The only complaint I would have is that lunch, even just sandwiches, was not provided although it was suggested in the introductory email that it would be. I wouldn't normally complain about this except that I know other people who did the same course on separate days at St. John headquarters in Belfast who were provided with lunch.
That aside I would thoroughly recommend this 3 Day First Aid At Work course to anyone.
