Mirror and Glassworx was founded in 1998 by David Mulligan after returning from working in England and Germany. MGWX has a manufacturing facility in Annacotty, Limerick. The plant is equipped with automatic bevellers, polishers and double glazing plant.

Teak Conversion and PVC Upgrades
Glassworx can upgrade most Teak and PVC windows with Vistamtherm Elite A Rated Double glazed units, drastically reducing heat loss and condensation.

The conversion system has been used successfully in Germany for more than 25 years and is covered by our 5 year guarantee. Our product is now even better due to the improvements in glass technology such as ‘low-e’ glass and Argon gas filling. Our units can now achieve a U-value of 1.1 or better.

We remove the old glass and putty/ beading. We router deeper if needed to accommodate the 24/20 units. We seal with silicone both inside and out adding to your security, while giving you a proven long life seal. Outside, your teak frames receive an undercoat of the relevant paint/ stain.

Customised Splashbacks
Glass splashbacks come in a vast array of colour choices. The toughening process ensures a heat resistant, high impact product that’s easily cleaned and maintained. When installed, your splashback is waterproof and comes with a 10 year warranty. We specialize in one piece installations (as big as possible, without any joints), as we find they look much better and this also eliminates any areas where grease and grime can gather.
